focus on your life... not hollywood!

Lately I have been really annoyed with TV shows such as: The Insider, Entertainment Tonight, and any other shows that primarily focus on Hollywood. I am so tired of movie stars getting so much publicity over nothing. We are wasting our brainpower by focusing on people who really don’t do anything…I understand if we focus on Steven Spielberg who have established a name for himself in the movie industry but topics like “Paris Hilton-What’s in her bag…ohhh Find out Tomorrow”! Are so sickening. I rather stare at the wall for that half of hour than watch these shows! Also stars who say “I never let anyone see my bedroom but since its you I am” yea right whatever.

Don’t get me wrong. I think there is a limit to everything on television but these shows are everywhere. A week ago my sister and I were having dinner and we were talking about Brad Pitt as if he was a friend…how horrified we were! We stared at each other dumbfounded and said how the hell we got to this topic. I refuse to look at magazines, shows, and everything that has to do with pointless ponderings! It’s been hard but if anyone catches me talking about actresses and actors please slap me! I am going to invest more of my time to good television, books, and other forms of educational medias. I’ll watch the movies. That’s the work of the entire crew...So much work.. but NO to pointless Television shows! Let’s invest more of our time on PBS!
